He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakley Elam and Virgie Elam (Lewis); his wife Bobbie; and his siblings, Margie and Jim.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Suzan) and Todd; and his partner Shirley Whitaker. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
