He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Goodwin and Carrie Goodwin; his wife Doris Jean Goodwin; his siblings, John Goodwin, Alvin Goodwin, Junell Goodwin and Beverly Green; and his granddaughter Alexandria Goodwin.
He is survived by: his significant other Doris Hickman; his children, Sandra Ward (Gregory), Edward Goodwin (Jennifer) of Williamsport, OH, Frann Lowery (Michael) and Jerome Goodwin (Belinda) of Columbus, OH; and his brothers, Melvin Goodwin (Arabell) and Milton Goodwin (Calvina) of Dayton, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
