He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Bub" Culver and Alma Tingler Culver; and his siblings, John Culver, Larry Culver and Mary Gast.

He is survived by: his wife Annette Maynard Culver; his children, Shane Culver of Worthington, OH, Robert Anderson (Mandy) of Galion, OH and Maggie Culver of Columbus, OH; his siblings, Carl Culver of Columbus, OH, Bob Culver of Wheelersburg, Danny Culver of Columbus, OH and Janet Twinam (Larry) of Swauger Valley; and his grandchildren, Hayli, Makaylyn, Maddie and Braelynn Anderson.
