She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Murphy; her daughters, Susan McKinney and Deborah McKinney; her parents, William Evans and Florence Evans; and her siblings, Cleveland, Charles, Elijah Murphy, Mary Butts, Martha Murphy, Ruby Evans and Ann Fisher.

She is survived by: her children, Harold Murphy, Tammy Simcox (Jeffrey), Aaron Murphy (Vickie) and Sarah Parisey (Andy); and her sister Minnie Hanshaw. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
