She was predeceased by: her husband George Michael Fares; her parents, Nicholas LaHoud and Edna LaHoud (Joseph); and her brothers-in-law, Frederick Simon and Donald Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle DeSantis (Nick), George Fares (Jennifer), Diane Maxwell (Tom), Carolyn Wade (David), Nikki Norman (Scott) and David Fares (Leandro); her grandchildren, Marie (Rob), Nick, Kristen, Katie (Jared), David (Chelsea), Monica, Carrie (Danny), A. J. and Andi; her great grandchildren, J. J., Luca, Ryan, Alaric and Hope; and her sisters, Peggy Simon and Yvonne Perotti (Charlie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
