With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Johnson (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on May 11, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Johnson and Annabelle Johnson; and his siblings, Gus, Eugene, Emanuel, Herman, Cornelius Johnson, Alberta Dorsey and Elneata Bridges.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Joyce Johnson; his children, Harold W. Johnson (Rossalyn), Asenath Johnson Simpson, Cheryl L. Johnson and Winslow H. Johnson; his grandchildren, Anika Simpson, Terelle Johnson, De'Leon Johnson, Bakari Simpson, Micah Edwards, Dwaun Cox and Dashaunn Cox; and his close friends, Larry White and Harold Butler. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
For reasons of health and safety related to the current pandemic, the Johnson's have elected to hold a private family ceremony.
