He was predeceased by: his parents, Lura Ransom and Benjamin Reed; and his siblings, Jennie Alfred and Percy Ransom. He is survived by: his significant other Beverly Ransom; his children, Shawna Ransom, Christopher Ransom (Rachel), Joyce Carter and Edward Barnes; his grandchildren, Kiara Ransom, Zier Robinson, Christopher Ransom Jr. of Paul Robinson, III. and Zion Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Ali Watson and Douglas Waston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
