We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2019, at the age of 90, Herbert Walter Smouther (Columbus, Ohio), born in Canton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Laura Smouther; his brother Roger Smouther of Canton; his former wife Winnifred Smouther (Seeley) of Elmira; and his son Stephen Herbert Smouther of Columbus. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Smouther (Fortenberry) of Moriah; his son Gordon W. Smouther; and his stepchildren, Douglas, Michael Fortenberry of Moriah, Deborah Powell of Belwood, Dawn Caldwell of Columbia, SC and Michelle Garrison of Hickory. He is also survived by many grandsons and granddaughters.
