He is survived by: his former wife Freida Helen Sanders; his wife Freida Freeman; his daughters, Kathy Ostermiller (Peter) of Louisville and Nancy Brown (Bill) of Houston; his grandchildren, Beth Ostermiller Whitsel (Austin) of Baltimore, Maryland, Michael Brown of Houston and Steven Brown of San Jose, California; his siblings-in-law, Lee Sanders (Patricia) of Prospect and Louise Freeman of Louisville; and his sibling's children, Lisa Freeman of Taylorsville and John Freeman of Colorado.
