He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Beard and Homer E. Beard; and his siblings, Betty Stickel, Elenora Beard, Raymond, Eugene and Richard Beard (Jean).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Beard (Laurel), Paul Beard (Susan) and Colleen Hamons (Beard); his grandchildren, Emily Beard (Natalie), Alex Beard (Sarah), Hallie Gibson (Adam), Andrew (Catherine), Chelsea Nichols (Ben), Connor Hamons (Courtney) and Julia McClure (Mark); his stepson Rocky Black (Laura) of Grove City, OH; and his children, Wesley Black (Lynn) of California, Madeline, Warren Black and Roger Grabach. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
