He was predeceased by: his parents, John Markham and Bessie Markham (Beatty); his sister Martha; his brother-in-law Ken Cline; his brothers, Glen (Norma Markham), Forest (Alice Markham), Robert (Hazel Markham), John Jr. "Buddy" and William; and his sisters-in-law, Marjean (Vic) and Freda (Joe).
He is survived by: his wife Anne Hensley; his children, Michael Markham (Jan), Patricia Markham Risica (Bob), Susan Markham (Ben Johnson) and Amy Markham; his brothers, Victor and Joseph; his sister-in-law Bobbie Markham (William); his grandchildren, Scott, Katie, Sean, Jeff, Gabby, Julianna, Annie, Zoe, Dillon and Beck; and his great grandchild Cordelia.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Danbury Senior Living Facility or Capital Care Hospice.
