He was predeceased by: his son Louis M. Filichia; his parents, Louis and Geraldine'Jerry'Filichia; and his nephew Michael Ahl. He is survived by: his wife Margherita Filichia; his sister Mary Ann Ahl (Thomas); his brother-in-law Anthony Tiberi; and his sibling's children, Amy Schalkofske, Jonathan Ahl (Anita), John Tiberi (Julia) and Joe Tiberi (Jennifer). He is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home (1068 S High St, Columbus, OH 43206). A prayer will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Guild Athletic Club (G.A.C.).
