He was predeceased by: his parents, William Minor and Esther Jackson; and his sister Willene Qualls. He is survived by: his wife Pearl Minor; his brothers, Allen and Melvin Minor; his son Eric Young; his grandchildren, Robert Johnson and Tyshawnna Hinton; his sister Patricia Maye; his daughters, Felicia, Portia Johnson and Tonya Prater (Wayne); and his grandchildren, Lateesa Johnson Paris Trammel, Juwon, Samson, Justin Minor, Brooks Adams and Eric Young Jr.. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
