It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Layne of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on October 31, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Layne; his brothers, Donald and Bill Layne; and his parents, Brooxie Layne and Frank Layne.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Layne, Patricia Perkins and Melissa Layne; and his siblings, John, Frank, Joe Layne and Mary Lou Dodson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
