He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, April Schlesiger (Bernie), Chris Scott (Mindy) and Deidre Scott; his sister Candace Dummitt; his stepsons, Cris Randall (Lisa) and Thomas Townsend (Julie); his grandchildren, Jude Scott, Charlie, Maggie Townsend and Kevin Randall; and his close friend Lewis Surratt.
