He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Goldman and Leonard Goldman; and his brother Dr. Daniel Goldman. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Dernik (Nick), Shelby Goldman (Drew Kuzan), Jennifer Goldman (Andrew Hedge), Alex Colles and Dustin Goldman (Shelby); and his brother-in-law Kevin Dye (Mary).
