He is survived by: his children, Alice Sorrell of Columbus, Carolyn Matheny (Donnie) of Columbus, William Sorrell of Columbus, Jerry, Jr. and John Sorrell of North Carolina; his grandson Spencer Sorrell; his close friend Lisa Russell; and his siblings, Jean Clark, Nancy Newman (Carl), Mary Price (Daryl), Ruth Shreves (Bill), Carolyn Ording (Steve), Keith and Steven Sorrell.
