It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Georg (Columbus, Ohio), born in Hooversville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Pellatiro and Alice Hershberger; her husband Charles H. Georg; and her siblings, Jean Thomas and Dalmain Hershberger.
She is survived by: her children, Minda Bickley (John) of Gahanna, OH, Beverly Gugliotta (Tony) of Johnson City, TN and Diane Wassum (Keith) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bickley (Neale Murray), Jessica Bickley, Amy Jones (Ben), Jill Stroud (Sam), Kate Simmons (Matt) and Allie Wassum; and her great grandchildren, Reef Murray, Finn Murray, Mollie Murray, Brynn Simmons, Mae Jones, Bailey Jones, Thomas Jones, Emmett Jones, Brody Stroud and Emory Stroud. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and several extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joan's memory to Care Ministry at Peace Lutheran Church.
