She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton G. Thomas and Cetra C. Thomas (Lewis); her husband Leonard P. "Sonny" Temple; her brother Ronald L. Thomas; and her son-in-law John A Harden.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Fabyan, Denise Harden and David Ford (Robin). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
