He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Lawrence Turner and Betty Jean Price; his siblings, Billie Cummings and Kathy Spears; his stepmother Viola Turner; his children, Joe O. Cummings Jr., Amy Bridges (Willie), Ramon Lawson (Elixanne), Jason Cummings and Jamie Cummings; and his siblings, Lawrence McGee (Rose), Ruby Ruff, Lois Macklin (Mack), Dwenia Turner and Rodney Turner. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 5 godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
