He is survived by: his sons, Johnny, Richie, John III and Richard Sr. (Neneta); his grandchildren, Richard Jr., John IV, Nicholas (Amanda), Lindsey Schneeberg (Herb) and Laura-Ashley; his siblings, Norma Lewis and Jim; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Tiberi, Gerry Stevens and Butch Bolin (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends; classmates.
