He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Edwards Sr. and Pauline A. Edwards; his significant other Terry L. Wade; and his stepsiblings, Dwayne and Ranae.
He is survived by: his stepmother Remona Edwards; his children, Brittany Smith and Richard Edwards; his siblings, Paulette Duffey, Brenda Walker, Dwight Edwards, Regina Edwards, Susan Cousar (Carl Sr), Larry Binford (Edith), Charles Lemaster (Patricia) and Roxanne Schaney (Michael); and his grandchildren, Da'Vhantis, Kha and Simon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
