He was predeceased by: his former wife Janet Minehart Evans. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, John Jr. (Susan), Gwen Hansen (Bob Shirley), Sue Halliwell and Mark (Patsy); and his stepchildren, Kathy Snyder, Jeffrey Snyder (Jonathan) and Julie Snyder (Mike).
