He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hamilton and Agnes Hamilton; his siblings, Samuel, Robert, Thomas and Isabel; his daughter-in-law Debra (Noe); and his granddaughter Kathryn Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Winona Jean (Waldron); his daughters, Carol Hamilton and Kimberly Hamilton-Holmes; his son-in-law Scott Holmes; his son John Hamilton; his daughter-in-law Marilyn (Fowlis); his son Mark Hamilton; and his grandchildren, Hope Parry, Colin Holmes, Lucas Holmes, Stuart Holmes and Matthew Hamilton. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
