He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilbert Kennedy and Emma Harry; his wife Merry Norris (Eberle); his children, Professor Miranda Eberle Shaw of Richmond, Virginia, Richard Todd Shaw (Kathleen) of Anacortes and Rosemerry Frances Iannotti (Joseph) of Chagrin Falls; and his grandsons, Matthew Gray Palmer, Charles Justin Palmer, Adam Spencer Nickels, Aaron Michael Fronek and Matthew Howard Iannotti.
