He is survived by: his wife Virginia Grant-Gubbins; his son Joel Grant-Gubbins; his brothers, Gerald Michael Gubbins and Donald James Gubbins (Lucile); his stepsisters, Cheryl Feil, Lynn Evers Ertman (Peter) and Juliann Woods (James); and his siblings' children, Beth Anne Gubbins, Melinda Gubbins, Robert E. Gubbins, Randy Standard, Jeremiah Standard and Samuel Standard.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association are suggested.
