He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grover Hawk and Betty Hawk (Hutton); his wife Cara Hawk (Leone); his daughters, Julie Longwell (Rob) and Jill Grumney (Dave); his grandchildren, Brittnee Blom (Taylor), Lexee Bouman (Phil), Keaton, Camden Cornell, Michael Grumney (Emily), Brandon Grumney, Jared Grumney and Allison Grumney; his great grandchildren, Ezra and Bravery Blom; his stepchildren, Mike Carpenter (Anne), Robert Carpenter (Kristen) and Amy Kirk; and his children, Eve, Gwenyth, Isaac Carpenter, Hayden, Gabriel Palmer, Reid, Layna Carpenter, Cara, Jonathan Kirk and Scamp.
