He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Mitchell and Mary Mitchell; and his siblings, David Roberts, Geri Champion and Lita Mitchell.
He is survived by: his children, Terriana Roberts, Amara Mccuen-Roberts and Joseph Brayboy; his sisters, Christi Smith and MaryJo Stewart; and his partner's child Ashley Conner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
