He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter T. Stafford and Jessie Stafford (Buchanan). He is survived by: his wife Susan Kizer Nesbitt; and his children, James N. Stafford (Pamela) of Waterville, OH, Joseph B. Stafford (Molly) of Columbus, OH and Jane S. Linville (John) of Bement, IL.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
