He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sr. and Margaret Stewart (Rice). He is survived by: his children, Ashley Stewart (Noel Rozelle, Jr.), Greg Stewart (Angel Davies) and Justin Stewart (Kelsey); and his siblings, Barb and Herb Jr.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
