He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Whorton Sr. and Betty Harrison; his siblings, George Harrison and Willie Bea Harrison; and his nephews, Tony Harrison and Marvin Burton.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Whorton, John Robert Whorton III (Angel) and Valerie Veal (Curtis); his siblings, David Whorton, Clinton Harrison (GiGi) and Kim Adams (Joe); and his grandchildren, John Ramon Whorton, Kara Whorton and Curria Veal. He is also survived by step-children, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, family and friends.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made in John's name to Bill Winston Ministries, a ministry that he supported over the years.
