It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joretta Jackson of Columbus, Ohio, born in Cutler, Ohio, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon J. Mayle and Mable A. Mayle; her husband George R. Jackson; and her siblings, Doran, Dana and Lillian White.
She is survived by: her sons, George R. "Rick" Jackson, Jr. (Elfie Roman) of Mentor, OH, James B. "Brian" Jackson (Trish) of Fairview Park, OH and Mark D. Jackson (Lisa) of Powell, OH; her grandchildren, Dawn, Jeremy, Laura, Dorin, Tim, Alexis, Joe, Josh, Dana, Annie and Ben; her sisters, Dolly Thomas (Gary), Norma Saffold, Carol Patterson, Vicki Wright (Willie) and Joy Allen (Eddie); and her stepsister Melba Watkins (Harry). She is also survived by her father, brothers and sisters, sons, daughters and nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
