He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeSantis and Clara DeSantis (Tiberi). He is survived by: his wife Mariann; his daughters, Cyndi and Monica (Chris Montgomery); his grandsons, Mark and Lucas; his brother Daniel DeSantis (Judi); and his friend Anthony Susi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
