He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his son Jeffrey Ballinger; his parents, Joseph A. Ballinger and Jeanette Ballinger (Ball); and his parents-in-law, Lucille "Lucy" and Ralph Bush.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jo Steinert of Columbus and Jennifer Valentine (Shane) of Groveport, OH; his daughter-in-law Cathy Ballinger of Wooster, OH; his grandchildren, Jackie Appel (Doug), Danielle, Joey, Samuel, Benjamin, Elijah and Nathaniel; his siblings, Roger Ballinger (Joy), Don Ballinger (Kathy) and Cleta Logan; and his brother-in-law Ralph. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
