She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lynn and Estella Lynn; her husband Herbert Michael Bates; and her brothers, Bill Haag, Tom Lynn and Philip Lynn.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Walter Deems; her children, Shannon Lawson and Shane Bates; her brother Jim Lynn (Wilma); her sister-in-law Barbara Lynn; her friend Sandy Boger; her grandchildren, Jacob Binion (Kaylee), Storme Lawson, Keelynn Lawson and Xavier Lawson; and her great grandchildren, Onyx Binion and Everlee Binion. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cotner Funeral Home (7369 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
