She was predeceased by: her parents, Petro Kanatas and Sara Kanatas; and her husband Brian. She is survived by: her siblings, Matthew Kanatas, Chris Kanatas and Lorraine Kanatas.
The Annual Chippewa contest was one she always held dear as it raised donations to help local charities and the Lakeview Volunteer Fire Dept.
