She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Cox, Sr.; her daughter Daivena Clay; her close friend Franklin McCain; and her sister Vanessa Green. She is survived by: her mother Joyce Smith (Davis); her siblings, Mark Small (Ruth), Donna Jackson (Renee), Marvin Cox, Jr. and Marcus Cox (Amanda); and her children, Brian Greggs (Krystle), Brandon Cox (Jessica), Jerome James (Laquita), Sonato Cox and Donyelle Glenn. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
