He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sampson and Matilda Sampson; and his wife Mary Ann Sampson. He is survived by: his children, Sandy Jackson (Ed), Ed Sampson (Beverly), Sue Brough (Bill), Chuck Sampson (Jan) and Don Sampson (Erene); his grandchildren, Amanda (Sam), Jeremy (Angela), Niki, Michelle (John), Chris, Nick, Ryan, Aaron and Coley; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Ava and Khori; and his siblings, James "Jim" Sampson (Betty), Jean Young, Merle Sampson (Mary), George Sampson (Charlotte), Thelma Houser, Mitilda "Tillie" Washburn, Shirley Davis (Clay) and Albert Sampson (Cathy).
