He is survived by: his children, Thomas Shirley (Sheryl), Jerri Rice and Christina Sparks (Thomas); his grandchildren, Thomas Shirley (Taylor), Paige Sparks (Dave Moreau), Travis Shirley, Tyler Shirley and Loren Jones (Anthony); his great grandchild Millie Jae Jones; and his sister Phyllis Carter (Bud).
