He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Essex and Beverly Essex; and his sisters, Melodee and Nannette. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Essex; his son Andy Essex (Carole); and his brother Rick Essex. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
