With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry George Root (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on September 30, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ralph and Olive Blanche Hutchinson Root; his son Bobby; and his brother Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, David Root (Laura) and Brenda Kay Pope; his adoptive daughters, Roberta and Nancy; and his grandchildren, Kevin Bailey (Lisa), Larry Joe Bailey, David Root (Kayla), Nathan Bailey, Chelsea Legg, McKenzie Legg, Brayden Legg, Timmy, Heather, Robin and Katrina. He is also survived by great grandchildren; as well as friends.
