It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVetta G Hammond Helser of Columbus, Ohio, born in Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William E. Hammond; and her husband Edwin Foster Helser. She is survived by: her sister Marlana Hammond Keynes; and her nieces, Laura Hammond-Keynes of Lancaster and Sherri Mason (John) of Lima, OH..

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Museum of Art or the Decorative Arts Center in Lancaster, Ohio.
