She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bias and Pearl Bias (McClendon); her husband Robert Rutledge, Sr.; her sons, Barron Rutledge and Benson James Rutledge; and her siblings, Abner Bias, Charlie Bias, Ellis Bias, Elmer Bias, William Bias, Roy Bias, Bertha Lee Bias, Adell Patterson, Annie Bias Walker, Naomi Bias Keith, Fannie Bias Young and Pearl Bias Allen.
She is survived by: her brother John Henry Rutledge; her children, Nonie L. Cradle, Shirley Williams (Nate), Merlin Rutledge, Clifford Rutledge and Robert Rutledge Jr.; her sister Effie Bias Coats of Gadsden, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Ernessa Hines, Donna Rutledge, Rodney Rutledge, Ken Rutledge, Tony Rutledge, Nila Rutledge, Lamont Rutledge, Andrew Benson Rutledge, Brock Rutledge, Barron Rutledge Jr. and Michael Rutledge. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
