With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Jean Cook (Columbus, Ohio), born in Lumberport, West Virginia, who passed away on November 20, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Johnson Jr. and Ruby Mae Johnson; her brother Lewis Johnson III; her husband Elgin Cook; and her former husbands, Eugene Floyd Sr. and Freddie Darling.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Lynn Higgins of Columbus, OH, Natalie Jean Davis of Nashville, TN, Eugene Floyd Jr. of Tulsa, OK, Dr. Kimberly Waibogha of Columbia, MD and David Alan Floyd of Columbus, OH; her brother Douglass Johnson of Mansfield, OH.; and her daughter-in-law Tosha Floyd. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a niece and nephew, and numerous cousins.
