It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Kennedy (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sr. Shelton and Nancy Guy Shelton; and her siblings, George Shelton, Jr., Margaret Motley, Freda Shelton and Dorothy Carr.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Charles L. Carr, Jr. (Erena), Judith Wilson, Toni Hicklin (Pastor Tommy), Virginia Fowler (Darryl) and Naida Cephas (Jerome); and her close friends, Nancy Thomas, Renee Lacey Parks and Ella Mason. She is also survived by great nieces/nephews, great-great nieces/nephews and great- great-great nieces/nephews.
