He was predeceased by: his brother Victor Flood; and his nephew Desmond Allison. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis "Phylaine" Childs; his children, Mara and Marty Jr.; his brother Esmond Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Althea Flood and Deborah Macklin (Arcenaux); his mother-in-law Catherine Childs; his aunts, Rhetta Rhea (Ted) and Jean Wiggins of Charleston, WV; and his close friend Gary Andrews. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
