It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Babin (Columbus, Ohio), born in Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on October 5, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Babin and Marion Babin (Champagne). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kit" Kilen; his children, Kelli Frederick (Clay) of Prairieville, LA, Lori Smith (Greg) of Powell, OH and Eric Babin of Knoxville, TN; his stepchildren, Benjamin Hickey (Jenne) of Galloway, OH and Olivia Shy (George) of Erlanger, KY; his brothers, Jim Babin (Janet) of Houma, LA and Terry Babin (Regina) of Houma, LA; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Kilen (Chris) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Christine Kilen of Avon, OH.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, OH or Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH.
