He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Sr and Paul LaPaugh Sr.; his siblings, Paula Cunningham, Edith Howell and William LaPaugh; and his nephew Darryl Howell.
He is survived by: his children, Sheena Newsom, Shamecia Brown and Michael J. LaPaugh Jr.; his siblings, Paul G. LaPaugh Sr. (Tracey), Shirley Martin (Carl) and Bernie Cummings; and his friends, Jonathan Miller Sr. and Tony Beasley. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
