We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2024, at the age of 85, Mother Nellie V. Medina (Columbus, Ohio), born in Selma, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Tate and Naomi Vann; and her siblings, Joseph Vann, Robert Vann, Lucy Sheppard and Naomi Hunt.
She is survived by: her husband Rafael Medina Sr.; her children, Bonita Medina (Ron), Rafael Medina Jr. (Sally Jo) and Gregorio Medina (Nisa); her sister-in-law Shirley Vann; and her grandchildren, Alyssa, Shaquela, Tanisha, Aricka, Atiya, Ashley, Ron, Brandon, Tyreek, Angel, Asia, Alexys and Rafael III. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
