He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Estrid Kongshaug (Sepstrup); and his siblings, Erik, Poul, Johannes, Herman, Bernhard, Elna, Ingrid, Else and Karen Margrethe.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ellen; his children, Ellen Margrethe (Todd Farrell), Paul Oluf (Rachel Willms) and Niels Erik (Erin Tokheim); his grandchildren, Max, Cael, Micah, Nolan, Hanna Kongshaug of Cedar Rapids, IA, Riesa, Emilia and Finn Kongshaug of Johnston, IA; and his sisters, Ellen Wetterlind, Stockholm, Sweden, Anne Lise Kaltenborn, Oslo and Norway. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Turning Point, Delaware, Ohio or Ohio Living Westminster Thurber Spiritual Life Committee.
